Presentation from September Gathering – Augmented Reality Bricklaying

Bricklaying using a Microsoft Hololens and augmented reality – At the Royal Hobart Hospital

Bricklaying technology has barely changed for thousands of years. Could augmented reality be a disruptive technology to this ancient skill? All Brick Tasmania and the Australian start-up software developer Fologram collaborated to create something truly incredible. Using Microsoft Hololens, they have used augmented reality to design and construct a series of curving brick bench seats on several balconies in the new K block of the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Thank-you All Brick Tasmania for presenting your amazing invention at our recent gathering.
